Sonia Y. Tan, MSc

My research works are in various topics of interest like perfect numbers, polygonal numbers, Zumkeller numbers and many other mind-boggling topics in Number Theory . Number Theory has applications in cryptography, coding, computer science to name a few.
I finished my Bachelor degree in Applied Mathematics at De La Salle University and obtained by Master degree in Mathematics from Ateneo de Manila University. My masteral thesis was on ” Sequential Binary Array” (Algebraic Combinatoric topic) which is related to weaving designs/patterns. But I am also always fascinated by different mind boggling topics on special numbers in Number Theory so my undergraduate thesis mentoring usually dealt on these topics.
