Shirlee R. Ocampo, MSc

My research works focus on multivariate statistical analyses, modeling (e.g. spatial, spatiotemporal, regression), Bayesian statistics, time series analyses, and mathematics education.
Shirlee R. Ocampo graduated magna cum laude with a degree of BS Mathematics for Teachers from Philippine Normal University (PNU). She obtained M.S. Mathematics from DLSU with distinction and outstanding thesis. She is pursuing Ph.D. Statistics in University of the Philippines (UP) Diliman. She was a consistent scholar of the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) having obtained DOST-SEI undergraduate scholarship and DOST-PCASTRD scholarship for MS Mathematics in DLSU and for her coursework in the PhD Statistics program at the University of the Philippines (UP) School of Statistics. She was awarded as one of the Ten Outstanding Students of the Philippines (TOSP) and Ten Outstanding Student Teachers of the Philippines (TOSTP). Among her other awards are ICMS2017 Outstanding Paper, DLSU Research Congress 2015 Best Paper, Outstanding PNU Alumna, and Outstanding DOST-SEI Scholarship Program Graduate. She is a member of Philippine Statistical Association, Inc. (PSAI), International Association for Statistical Association (IASE), Mathematical Society of the Philippines (MSP), and Pi Lambda Theta Honor Society (Philippines Area Chapter).
