JANE ABIGAIL M. SANTIAGO, MSc

Jane Santiago earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology in University of Sto. Tomas. She worked with National Fisheries Research and Development Institute under Oceanography section where she hastens her skill in Plankton taxonomy and ecology. This work led to her Masteral Thesis focusing on the unexplored plankton group in the Philippines, the tintinnids. Ms. Santiago finished Master of Science in Biology with the Biology Department, College of Science, De La Salle University. Her recent research involves the genetics and transcriptomics of the giant clams in the Philippines.
