Module Description
MODULE 1: Making Blended Learning Work
This module introduces the basic tenets of blended learning. An overview of the pedagogies and key ingredients in effectively integrating technological educational resources and tools in blended learning and teaching is discussed. Participants are expected to bring their course syllabus and materials. At the end of the module, participants are expected to map out a topic for blended learning delivery.

Module 2: Advanced Pedagogical
Practices in Blended Learning
Since the participants have learned the basic concept and efficient practices of blended learning, in this training module it is time to learn advanced pedagogical practices that you may apply in blended learning so that you can maximize the benefits of both online and face-to-face instruction. For the participants to have full understanding of the AnimoSpace online environment and acquire both pedagogical and technical skills.
The objectives are as follows:
- Examine key ingredients in meaningful learning
- Develop outcome-based learning activities
- Plan HyFlex learning sessions

Module 3: Fundamental Practices
in Course Development in AnimoSpace
This module focuses on the familiarity of the various instructional tools features and resources of AnimoSpace . Participants will have a full understanding of the AnimoSpace online environment and acquire both pedagogical and technical skills in the delivery of hybrid courses. Being proficient in using AnimoSpace is essential in teaching here in DLSU for it will be your major tool in managing your classes in a hybrid learning set-up.
AnimoSpace features covered include:
- Essential Tools in Navigating Canvas
- Course Design Tools
- Monitoring Student Progress Tools
- Using Zoom in Canvas

Module 4: Advanced Tools in Navigating AnimoSpace

Pear Deck promotes engaging lectures and presentations for an interactive learning experience. This training will be focused on introducing the essential features and tools of Pear Deck. Specifically, you will learn how to:
- Importance of Engagement in Classes
- Install PearDeck in your Google Slides
- Add interactive elements to your PearDeck Slides
- Track student engagement through PearDeck
- Create PearDeck asynchronous activities in AnimoSpace
