TRAININGS OFFERED
MODULE 1 (FUNDAMENTAL): INTRODUCTION TO BLENDED LEARNING
This module introduces the basic tenets of blended learning. An overview of the
pedagogies and key ingredients in the effective integration of technological educational
resources and tools in blended learning and teaching is discussed. Participants are
expected to bring their course syllabus and materials. At the end of the module,
participants are expected to map out a topic for blended learning delivery.
Duration: 3 hours
MODULE 2 (FUNDAMENTAL): COURSE DEVELOPMENT IN ANIMOSPACE
This training module focuses on the familiarity of the various instructional tools features
and resources of AnimoSpace. A hands-on workshop is carried out using the guided
demonstration approach for the participants to have full understanding of the
AnimoSpace online environment and acquire both pedagogical and technical skills in
the delivery of hybrid courses.

Participants are expected to bring their course syllabus and materials, and their output
from Module 1 (Fundamental) – Introduction to Blended Learning. At the end of the
module Participants are expected to develop a sample module in AnimoSpace.

MODULE 1 (ADVANCE): BLENDED LEARNING: PEDAGOGICAL PRACTICES
This module looks into satisfying pedagogical practices in the facilitation of blended
learning. It discusses the conditions, guidelines and strategies teachers can use in the
conduct of their blended learning courses. Participants are expected to bring their
course syllabus. At the end of the module, participants are expected to develop their
class policies in blended learning and plan how to adapt these practices in various
blended activities.
Duration: 3 hours
Prerequisite: Module 1 (Fundamental) – Introduction to Blended Learning
MODULE 2 (ADVANCE): ADVANCE TOOLS OF ANIMOSPACE
This training module explores the use of advance tools of AnimoSpace. A hands-on
workshop is carried out using the guided demonstration approach for the participants to
have full understanding of the tool features and acquire both pedagogical and technical
skills in its implementation to the delivery of blended learning courses. Participants are
expected to bring their course syllabus and rubrics in class. At the end of the module,
participants are expected to adapt these advance tools in various blended activities.
Animospace features covered includes:
- Submodule: Conferences and Collaborations (Duration: 1 hour)
- Submodule: Outcomes, Rubric, and Marks (Duration: 1.5 hours)
- Submodule: Commons (Duration: 1 hour)
Prerequisite: Module 2 (Fundamental) – Course Development in AnimoSpace
MODULE: ARC TRAINING
This training module explores the use of ARC tool in AnimoSpace. It covers the creation
of screencast video lectures (capture and basic editing) and its deployment to
AnimoSpace. It also looks into the video annotation comments and insights features of
ARC. Participants are expected to bring a presentation they use for a topic. At the end
of the module, participants are expected to create a sample video lecture for a chosen
topic.

Prerequisite: Module 2 (Fundamental) – Course Development in AnimoSpace
MODULE: BLUEPRINT TRAINING
This training module specifically explores the use of Blueprint tool of AnimoSpace.
Designed for course coordinators, it covers how to utilize the blueprint to update, and
maintain course design templates or components across any number of courses or
instructors, and push updates to all associated courses through course syncing. At the
end of the module, participants are expected to be able to manage the blueprint course
for their blended learning courses.
Duration: 1 hour
Prerequisite: Module 2 (Fundamental) – Course Development in AnimoSpace
