We are TALa

The laboratory aims to continuously provide engineering solutions services to industries that will aid on their product design and development. TALa, with the help of the computers, envisions itself as the laboratory to cater the simulations needs of the industries for them to analyze their product design effectively and efficiently.

The Thermomechanical Analysis Laboratory (TALa) had been founded by the team of Dr. Aristotle Ubando and Engr. Jeremias Gonzaga in the De La Salle University – Laguna Campus in collaboration with De La Salle University (DLSU) as the implementing agency, Integrated Microelectronics Inc. (IMI) as the cooperating agency, Department of Science and Technology – Philippine Council for Industry, Energy, and Emerging Technology Research and Development (DOST-PCIEERD) as the monitoring agency, and Department of Science and Technology (DOST) as the funding agency under the Collaborative Research and Development to leverage Philippine Economy (CRADLE) Program.

TALa aims to provide a continuous service for computational capabilities to solve engineering problems as well as the learning hub for computational analysis.

Our Mission

•To leverage the design and development capabilities of the universities through numerical calculations and advance simulations.

•To reduce the need for outsourced consultation from international experts.

•To provide a reliable computational capabilities with regards to simulations that can boost the research output of students and faculty.

•To provide scientifically sound design recommendations through advanced numerical modeling techniques for research ideas.

•To promote academic and industrial collaboration

Our Vision

To be the state-of-the-art computational laboratory that caters to research and development needs of the semiconductor industry as well as to in aid product development and innovation.
