Geronimo Berenguer de los Reyes, Jr. establishes scholarship endowment fund
De La Salle University President Br. Raymundo Suplido FSC and DLSU alumnus Geronimo Berenguer de los Reyes, Jr. signed a Deed of Donation in a ceremony last August 8, 2018 to establish the John and Maria Teresa Oppenheimer Scholarship Endowment Fund for Business Management and Engineering.
The Geronimo Berenguer de los Reyes, Jr. Foundation, Inc. dedicates the name of the endowment fund to two inspiring people who have given a lot to Filipinos and who both served with a strong sense of purpose and courage, consistently throughout their lives. Their story as a loving couple is quite remarkable and a light in dark times. They have, indeed, brought positive things in the life of Mr. de los Reyes, whose foundation now shares with De La Salle University the inspired life that he learned from them.
Also present during the ceremony were the three out of the four daughters of John and Maria Teresa Oppenheimer, namely Marie Oppenheimer, Jo Oppenheimer Swabacker, Jean Oppenheimer Vandussen-Puig.
