Guidelines for Visiting Users
The following guidelines govern access and on-premise use of the De La Salle
library resources and facilities:
Fee:
Php100.00 per person/per visit
Coverage:
- All non DLSU-Manila graduate and undergraduate students enrolled in other colleges and universities.
- All non DLSU-Manila teaching and non-teaching faculty.
- Professional or corporate researchers.
- Others, subject to approval.
Payment Procedure:
Payment should be made to the Accounting Office at the LS Building during office hours.
The following are exempted from payment:
- College and graduate students, faculty and staff from other De La Salle Schools.
- Holders of SMI-IC (South Manila Inter-Institutional Consortium) Library
permit (from Adamson University, De La Salle-College of St. Benilde, Emilio
Aguinaldo College, Lyceum of the Philippines, Philippine Christian University,
Philippine Normal University, Philippine Women's University, St. Paul
University-Manila, St. Scholastica's College, Technological University
of the Philippines, and University of the Philippines-Manila).
- Holders of IUC cards (from Asian Institute of Management, Ateneo Professional
Schools and UP College of Business Administration).
- Holders of validated DLSAA card (Alumni of DLSU-Manila).
- Holders of EDRC and ASRC consortium cards.
Requirements:
- Present referral letter and leave I. D. (school/institution/company) with
Security desk attendant at the Main Gate.
- Present the following to the Information-Reference desk attendant, at 2nd
floor of the library:
- Referral letter signed by the Chief Librarian, or authorized official/project
officer.
- Official receipt of payment obtained from the Accounting Office.
- Consortium card/permit or alumni card.
- Register at the Information-Reference desk.
- Submit the accomplished feedback form to the Information-Reference desk attendant before leaving the library premises.
Restrictions:
- All materials are for room use only.
- A maximum of 5 (five) students a day per school shall be allowed access on a first
come, first served basis.
- The Library fee does not include access and use of Instructional Media Services
resources and facilities, Internet, and Cybernook facilities.
- Only graduate and postgraduate students and faculty, have access to theses
collection in the Archives. Use of other archival materials requires prior
approval of the Archivist.
- No visiting user shall be accommodated during final examination, term break
and summer.
- The Director of the Library reserves the right to cancel requests when deemed
necessary.
Visiting Schedule:
Mondays to Fridays - 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
