Literature Review for the Design and Implementation of the Archer Robot

Abstract

This paper presents a literature review for the design and implementation of the Archer Robot that is capable of knocking an arrow to a standard recurved bow, drawing the arrow, and hitting a target. Ancient and current human-like mechanical archers, machine vision, and intelligent controllers that can be the bases for the future Archer Robot are discussed in this paper.
