Viridis Arcus (VA) Esports, the official esports organization of De La Salle University (DLSU), is set to compete in all four Alliance Games Season 3 events at the upcoming CONQuest Festival 2023. They are without question one of the very best esports organizations in the country and the reigning champions in three out of four titles namely VALORANT, Call of Duty: Mobile, and Mobile Legends: Bang Bang.

VA Fonce, DLSU’s representatives in League of Legends, are the only non-defending champions heading into CONQuest 2023. They had a brilliant run in Group B and finished with a flawless 3–0 record for a direct semi-final berth. VA Fonce will play their first match on June 2, Friday, against the winner of the quarter-final bout between University of San Agustin (USA)’s SAGE Esports and University of the Philippines (UP) Diliman’s Oblation Esports Bathala.

The Mobile Legends: Bang Bang team, also known as VA Sashimi, are looking for back-to-back championships and their second overall. They earned their first ring at the Alliance Games 2022 Split 2 by defeating then-reigning champions the University of Santo Tomas (UST) Teletigers in the semi-finals and the Technological Institute of the Philippines (TIP) TGS Zephyrus in a four-game grand final. It will be a completely different playing field for VA Sashimi as neither of the two squads they faced in last season’s playoffs will be present at CONQuest 2023. Their first set of games are scheduled to begin on June 3, Saturday, in the semi-finals after topping Group B.

Moving on to the first-person shooter (FPS) titles, Viridis Arcus are more than determined to keep their Call of Duty: Mobile streak alive and secure their 11th consecutive CODM title. It was USA SAGE Ultimate that VA squared off against in the previous split’s championship-deciding series, so it comes as no surprise that both finalists placed first in their respective groups and earned automatic semi-final qualification.

Last but certainly not the least is Viridis Arcus’ VALORANT team. The roster, led by SEA Games 2023 Bronze Medalist Xavier “Xavi8k” Juan and standout Sentinel Aaron “Fission” Sablay, hold a five-peat in championships and are aiming to extend their domination over the collegiate scene with trophy number six. Despite their consistency as the best team in the league, Xavi8k and company will start their campaign in the first round. They share a 2–1 record with Holy Angel University (HAU) Valiant Esports and University of San Jose — Recoletos (USJR) Adelante Esports, but were assigned the third seed on point differential. VA will begin their playoff run against National University — Fairview (NUFV) Fervent Esports on June 2, Friday.
