DLSU aims to make Lasallian education accessible to those who are intellectually capable but financially handicapped by extending assistance in the form of scholarship grants, tuition discounts, student assistantship, and loans.

St. La Salle Financial Assistance Grant (CURRENTLY NOT ACCEPTING)

De La Salle University provides financial assistance to Filipino students who meet specific criteria for eligibility. The selection of grantees is done by the Scholarship Committee based on Financial Need and Academic Competence.

The Archer Achievers Scholarship Program aims to provide scholarship to students who top the DLSU College Admission Test. Qualified students will be automatically awarded full tuition and fee waiver. This is available for students who graduated from Philippine Private/Public and Science High Schools.

This program is considered as the University’s premier scholarship offering for some of the country’s best and brightest students. Students who topped in the admission test are screened and interviewed to fill the limited slots in the program. Those selected have the unique opportunity to earn a master’s degree, go to medical school proper (for BS Human Biology students), or enroll in the College of Law of DLSU after finishing their undergraduate degree on full scholarship.

This program was established to provide new scholarships every year exclusively for students who graduated from Philippine Public and Science High Schools and is a Filipino Citizen. A student should be among the top examinees of the DLSU College Admissions Test (DCAT). The University invites the candidates for a screening. A University committee reviews their qualifications and makes the final selection. Scholars under the program will receive a full waiver on tuition, miscellaneous, and laboratory fees throughout their stay in the University plus cash incentive for those graduating with Latin honors, advance enrollment privileges, and a monthly stipend to cover modest accommodation, meals, allowance, and other expenses.

This program will award scholarships to students who wish to pursue any engineering degree program as offered by the College of Engineering. The scholarship privileges include full tuition and fees waiver plus a monthly stipend to cover modest accommodations, meals, allowance, and other expenses.

High school students who ranked Top 1 (with highest honors) for each strand (STEM, ABM, HUMMS) of La Salle district schools and have passed the entrance exam will be awarded a full academic scholarship (tuition and fees) starting in their freshman year.

This is awarded to the legitimate or legally-adopted children of married, permanent and full-time faculty, and administrative service personnel who joined DLSU in May 1987 or after and have served the University for at least three years and are in active University service while availing of the grant. These students should have passed the entrance requirements of La Salle Green Hills, De La Salle-Santiago Zobel School, De La Salle-Araneta University, De La Salle University-Dasmariñas, De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde, or De La Salle University.

The CSP serves as a supplement to the Brother President Scholarship Program (BPSP). The CSP for De La Salle University was formulated to provide scholarships to qualified children of full-time permanent faculty (teaching and academic service faculty) and administrative service personnel (ASP) of the University. Children of permanent and full-time faculty and ASP must have passed the DLSU entrance requirements in order to qualify for the scholarship that is only offered at DLSU.

This scholarship is awarded to dependents of Co-Academic Personnel. Their children should have passed the entrance requirements of La Salle Green Hills, De La Salle-Santiago Zobel School, De La Salle-Araneta University, De La Salle College of Saint Benilde or De La Salle University.

This scholarship is granted to qualified children of full-time, part-time, and retired faculty members who joined DLSU before May 1987. Their children must have passed the entrance requirements of DLSU, De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde, La Salle Green Hills, or De La Salle Santiago-Zobel School.

Military Scholarship (PD 577)

Dependents of military personnel who died or became incapacitated in the line of duty are exempted from the payment of tuition. Qualified applicants are granted tuition waiver based on availability of slots.
Loans and Student Aid Programs

The Student Loan Program (SLP) is a short-term interest-free loan facility for the payment of tuition and fees of undergraduate and graduate students.

Through this program, students who meet all criteria for eligibility may be hired and work as temporary personnel in the University for a minimum of five (5) to a maximum of twenty (20) hours per week.

Athletic Scholarship/Tuition Discount

Athletes or varsity players may enjoy full or partial tuition and/or fees waiver. Grantees are recommended by the Office of Sports Development (OSD).

Cultural Arts Tuition Discount
-
This may be availed of by the members of the DLSU Chorale, Harlequin Theater Guild, La Salle Dance Company, Green Media Group, De La Salle Inner Soul, and the Lasallian Youth Orchestra. Specific tuition discounts may be awarded to grantees recommended by the Cultural Arts Office.

Student Publications Tuition Discount

Senior editors of the three undergraduate student publications, namely The La Sallian, Ang Pahayagang Plaridel, and Malate Literary Journal may avail of specific tuition discounts upon the recommendation of the Student Publications Office.

Family Tuition Discount

This privilege may be availed of by families with three or more children enrolled in the undergraduate programs of the University. The tuition discount that the child with the lowest ID number can avail of may range from 40% in case of three children, 60% for four children and 80% for five children.
Externally-funded Scholarships

For Academic Year 2021-2022, five (5) scholars will be selected. Each scholar will be provided a maximum of Php 100,000.00 as a scholarship fund per academic year as financial assistance to cover tuition fees and other miscellaneous expenses paid directly to De La Salle University. The financial assistance shall only cover school fees for the regular school year/trimester and shall not, in any event, cover school fees arising out of or relating to the summer term, unless the summer term is mandatory based on the course curriculum.

The Tanging Yaman Foundation, Inc. has five (5) scholarship slots for AY 2021-22. One (1) for incoming freshman, one (1) sophomore, one (1) junior, and two (2) senior grantees will be chosen.

The grant shall provide for the tuition and fees of four (4) Mechanical Engineering students from first year to graduation. The scholarship slots are for current freshman and sophomore students only.

The Rebisco Foundation, Inc. has three (3) scholarship slots for incoming third year students under the Gokongwei College of Engineering programs (BS Chemical Engineering, BS Mechanical Engineering, BS Industrial Engineering, and BS Industrial Management) and Ramon V. del Rosario College of Business (BS Accountancy, BS Business Management, and BS Marketing Management).

USG Administered Scholarships
The USG will release scholarship and financial assistance programs every term via Help desk Announcement and USG Facebook page.

Dean’s Lister Grant

The financial assistance will be centered on Dean’s Listers who are in need. It will follow the application and screening process of other grants. However, the main qualification will be – Dean’s Lister with financial struggles. They must be a Dean’s Lister for two consecutive terms.

Lasallian Scholarship Program

The Lasallian Scholar Program is a university-wide project of the OTREAS under the Student Government Assistance Fund, in partnership with the DLSU Science Foundation, Inc., which aims to provide scholarship opportunities to deserving Lasallian students who embody the values, ideals, and traditions pursued by St. John Baptist de La Salle and exemplify the Lasallian core values of FSC namely: Faith, Service and Communion. Attached to this submission is the manual for the LSP.
