Last Mile Scholarship (Term 2 AY 2025-2026)

About the Scholarship

With a strong commitment of making Lasallian education accessible to all, especially for undergraduate students who have two (2) terms or less left before graduation, the Financial Assistance Program was established to achieve the following:

  • To provide opportunity for upper-class students experiencing financial difficulties, to avail of financial support to finish their undergraduate studies.
  • To help students whose family experienced financial downturn such as employment termination of the breadwinner, bankruptcy, closure of business, etc.
  • To encourage students who are experiencing financial difficulties to complete their studies and become productive members of the society.
Eligibility
  1. Application for the Last Mile Scholarship may be submitted by DLSU students who:
  • have two terms or less left to finish their studies
  • have no failing grade in any subject
  • must fully demonstrate a strong need for financial support (based on annual family income and other life circumstances (e.g. sudden death of a breadwinner, illness in the family, closing down of family business, etc.)); and
  • have not committed any major offense based on the Student Handbook.

Procedures

Accomplish and submit the following requirements via the Last Mile Financial Assistance Application Form on or before  13 September 2024.
 

    1. Income Tax Return or Certificate of Employment and Compensation (if parents and other household members are employed), or BIR Certificate of Exemption from filing of Income Tax Return or Municipal Certificate of Unemployment (if parents are unemployed)
      Note: For special life circumstances, applicants will be required to attach additional supporting documents such as death certificate, medical certificate, proof of termination from employer, closure of business, bankruptcy, etc.
    2. Copy of grades from My La Salle (MLS) account for all academic term.
    3. One recommendation letter from a DLSU faculty
    4. Certificate of Good Moral Character from the SDFO
