Rufino boosts funding for math professorial chairs

Ernesto B. Rufino, Jr., Chairman and CEO of Health Maintenance, Inc. (HMI), turned over supplemental funds to De La Salle University in support of the EDR Professorial Chair in Mathematics, established in December 1978, and the Br. C. John Lynam Professorial Chair in Mathematics, established in May 2002.

The donation was received from Ernesto and his wife, Josie, by DLSU President Br. Raymundo Suplido FSC and DLSU Advancement and Alumni Relations Executive Director Edwin Reyes at the HMI Office in Makati City.

The established professorial chairs aim to support research of faculty in the field of mathematics.
