This project sought to analyze current population management policies in terms of their responsiveness, comprehensiveness and effectiveness in addressing emerging population issues within the development context and providing recommended policy actions and strategies that can be proposed for national legislation to enhance the existing national population policy. This will catapult and prepare the country for the transition that will help it reap the benefits of the demographic dividend that the POPCOM, as the government agency tasked with implementing a population policy, seeks to guide the Philippines to pursue.
