Comprehensive Mapping, Assessment and Enrichment of the DSWD Case Management Systems and Practices

Project Director:  Homer J. Yabut
Funding Agency:  United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) thru Maestral International, LLC

The project seeks to conduct an in-depth analysis on current practices, gaps, challenges, and opportunities to further enhance the case management system vis-à-vis the child protection system implemented by the Department of Social Welfare and Development and local social welfare and development officers (LSWDOs) of the local government unit, utilizing a multi-disciplinary team approach. The project further seeks to boost the case management system toward the development of a more comprehensive and integrated and inter-operable digital technology-based platform for adoption in managing DSWD and LGU LSWDO caseloads including those involving the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps), online sexual abuse and exploitation of children (OSAEC) cases, and other clientele targets of the Department, guided by the protocol developed by the Special Committee for the Protection of Children (SCPC).
