Dr. Maria Guadalupe C. Salanga is an associate professor of the Department of Psychology of the DLSU College of Liberal Arts and SDRC research fellow.  She obtained her Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology and her MS in Guidance and Counseling from DLSU.  She is project director of the SDRC studies “Mental Health and HIV among Call Centre Employees in the Philippines: Co-producing a Workplace Intervention using a Systems Approach” and “Developing the Character Strengths of Wisdom in Low-Security Contexts: Testing New Approaches in Sri Lanka and the Philippines.”  She is a board member of the Pambansang Samahan sa Sikolohiyang Pilipino (National Association for Sikolohiyang Pilipino, Inc.), and member of the Psychological Association of the Philippines and the Asian Association of Social Psychology. Her area of research interest is in clinical counseling.
