Bernadas, Jan Michael Alexandre C.
Dr. Jan Michael Alexandre C. Bernadas is an associate professor of the Department of Communication of the DLSU College of Liberal Arts and an SDRC faculty research fellow. He holds a Ph.D. in Communication from the City University of Hong Kong and an M.A. in Communication specializing in Communication Research from the University of the Philippines-Diliman. He is an editorial board member of the International Journal of Human Rights in Healthcare and Health and New Media Research. He is a co-investigator in the SDRC study “How Filipino Youth Identify and Self-Report Bullying and Harassment on Social Media” and was likewise co-investigator in the study “Social and Behavior Change Communication Strategies to Improve Sexual and Reproductive Health and Family Planning Outcomes among Out-of-School Adolescents and Youth in the Philippines.” His areas of research interest are in health communication and organizational communication.
