Dr. Abdul Jhariel M. Osman is Assistant Dean for External Affairs of the Br. Andrew Gonzalez, FSC College of Education, and an assistant professor with the College’s Educational Leadership and Management Department. He obtained his Ph.D. in Educational Leadership and Management from DLSU, his M.A. in Teaching Mathematics from Holy Cross of Davao College, and his B.S. in Education specializing in Mathematics from Ateneo de Davao University. He has been a research associate for the SDRC projects “Capacity Building in Asia for Resilience EducaTion (CABARET)” and “Developing Competencies of Middle Level Health Workers and Maximizing their Roles in Task-sharing in the Philippines,” co-investigator for “Understanding the Context of Lack of Interest among Out-of-School Youth: The Experiences of Public Secondary Schools in Manila and Calamba,” and research assistant for  “LGU Efforts in Serving as Transit Station for Displaced Persons: Experiences of Hilongos and Ormoc Municipalities” and “Qualitative Research on Conflict of Interest (COI) in Infant and Young Child Nutrition among Healthcare Professionals and Healthcare Professional Societies.” Dr. Osman’s research interests are in educational leadership and management, and mathematics.
