LAPARA is a robotic surgical system that aims to bridge the gap between conventional laparoscopy and advanced robotic surgical systems. The system is designed to give ease to surgeons through its ergonomic design and immersive 3D haptic technology: giving them a sense of touch. It is also developed to be more compact than most commercial robotic surgical systems without compromising the technology of the device.
