The Bachelor of Science in Animal Biology program offers students training in the biological and natural sciences as they apply to animals from the molecular to the ecological and evolutionary levels of organization. This program prepares students primarily for a career in veterinary medicine. It is a three-year program offered by the Department of Biology, College of Science, De La Salle University (DLSU), in consortium with the College of Veterinary Medicine and Agricultural Sciences, De La Salle Araneta University (DLSAU). After two academic years in DLSU, the third and last year of the BS program is implemented in DLSAU where first-year veterinary medicine courses are taken. The BS in Animal Biology degree is conferred to the students after the third year. Graduates are expected to continue for another three years in DLSAU to take courses leading to the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree. The program is unique as it leads to two degrees in six years. URL
