April 17, 2026The De La Salle University (DLSU) Green and Lady Judokas asserted their presence on Day 2 of the UAAP Season 88 Judo Tournament, emerging with multiple bronze medal podium finishes in both the men’s and women’s divisions this afternoon at the Rizal Memorial Coliseum.
In the men’s division, Baldwin Aguilar led the Green Judokas’ charge in the -60kg category, capping his campaign with a hard-earned bronze medal. Demonstrating composure and determination throughout his matches, Aguilar earned his place on the podium after navigating a series of physically demanding bouts against a competitive field.

Building on this momentum, the Green Judokas delivered another strong showing in the -73kg division, where Marc Julao and Angelo Saria produced a double podium finish for the team. Both judokas claimed bronze medals in their respective brackets, highlighting not only their individual efforts but also the team’s depth in the weight class. Their performances underscored DLSU’s ability to remain competitive across multiple divisions.
Meanwhile, the Lady Judokas mirrored the success of their male counterparts, contributing to the team’s overall medal haul. Rosalind Sze stood out in the +78kg division, where she secured a bronze medal after holding her ground against formidable opponents. Her finish added further strength to DLSU’s campaign on the women’s side.
Taken together, the results from both divisions reflect the team’s discipline, preparation, and resilience on the mat.
