In this statement, Ramon V. Del Rosario College of Business Dean Dr. Reynaldo Bautista, Jr. said the recognition “reflects a collective effort built on deliberate choices, shared standards, and the consistent hard work of our faculty, students, administrators, and partners. It represents a sustained commitment to academic excellence, meaningful research, and industry relevance.
“More importantly, this milestone is not an endpoint. It reminds us of our responsibility to continue raising the bar, deepen our impact, and ensure that our work remains relevant and responsive to society’s needs. It serves as inspiration for us to keep improving and moving forward together.”
In the same rankings cycle, DLSU is the lone Philippine university that is ranked in Philosophy (151-200). The University is also the country’s top HEI in Education and Training (351-400).
Moreover, it is the leading private university in the Philippines in the areas of Computer Science and Information Systems (551-600), Economics and Econometrics (451-500), English Language and Literature (201-250), and Politics (301-400).
DLSU also improved its rankings in the broad subject areas of Arts and Humanities (=365) and Social Sciences and Management (=382).
QS employs the following metrics to evaluate the subject rankings: Reputation indicators which are based on the responses of more than 200,000 employers and academics to QS surveys; Citations per Paper and H-Index which measure research impact and productivity; and International Research Network which assesses cross-border research collaboration.
