Job Descriptions/Summary

The Project Assistant provides essential administrative and operational support to the IT-Project Management Office (IT-PMO) and its Project Managers, facilitating the smooth documentation and implementation of IT projects across the university. This is a plantilla position crucial for maintaining project records, assisting with communication, tracking project progress, and supporting various administrative tasks to ensure projects are executed efficiently and effectively. The Project Assistant plays a key role in ensuring that project documentation is accurate, accessible, and compliant with IT-PMO standards.

Qualifications
  1. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Communications, or a related field.
  2. Professional certification such as Project Management Professional (PMP), PRINCE2 Practitioner, or an equivalent project management credential is an advantage but not required.
  3. At least 1–3 years of experience in an administrative or project support role, preferably within an IT or project-driven environment.
  4. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly in documentation and coordination tasks.
  5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Calendar, Gmail); familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Trello) is an advantage.
  6. Excellent communication, multitasking, prioritization, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and provide proactive support.
