Job Descriptions/Summary

The Manager for IT Systems Integration is responsible for leading and managing the team dedicated to ensuring the stable, efficient, and harmonized operation of the University’s major academic and administrative systems, including on-premise, cloud-based, and hybrid environments. This role involves direct oversight of system integration projects, establishing robust Application Programming Interface (API) connectivity, and facilitating seamless data flow and process automation across platforms. The Manager plays a critical role in optimizing system interoperability, ensuring data integrity across integrated environments, and guiding the implementation and enhancement of IT solutions through effective team management. This position also manages and performs coordination works for other end-user systems as identified and assigned by the Director for IT Systems Management.

Qualifications
  1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field; cloud-specific certifications (e.g., AWS Developer, Azure Developer Associate, Google Cloud Developer) are highly desirable.
  2. Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in IT systems, including at least 1–2 years in system integration, API management, or database administration.
  3. Proven supervisory experience of 1–2 years, with demonstrated ability to lead and manage a small technical team.
  4. Strong knowledge of systems analysis, design, project management, and Information Systems Planning (ISP), with expertise in system integration, API management, and data exchange standards; experience with cloud-based integration platforms is an advantage.
  5. Proficiency in integration platforms, middleware, and database management systems (e.g., SQL), with strong problem-solving skills for complex integration issues.
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with teams and vendors, with attention to detail and accuracy in system configuration and data management.
