Job Descriptions/Summary

The Manager for IT Systems 2 – Financial Management System is primarily responsible for the comprehensive management, administration, and operational oversight of the University’s Financial Management System, including Finance (BPMS) and Supply Chain (Procurement – Oracle Fusion). This pivotal role involves direct supervision of Software Administrators, ensuring the Financial Management systems’ operational stability, performance, and user support, whether they are hosted on-premise, in a private cloud, or as a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solution. The Manager acts as a key liaison with business process owners and platform vendors, coordinating system enhancements, managing problem resolution, and maintaining optimal functionality of the Financial Management System ecosystem to meet the University’s core operational needs. This position also manages and performs coordination works for other end-user systems as identified and assigned by the Director for IT Systems Management.

Qualifications
  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Business Administration with IT focus, or a related field; cloud certifications (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) highly desirable.
  2. 3–5 years in IT systems administration or management, including 2–3 years with enterprise ERP platforms (Oracle Fusion, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.) and strong functional knowledge in finance, procurement, and administrative modules.
  3. 1–2 years supervisory experience with proven ability to lead and develop technical teams.
  4. Experience managing enterprise applications, including configuration, security, performance tuning, and cloud-based systems; familiarity with database management and data integrity best practices.
  5. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and critical thinking abilities; proficiency in IT service management (ITSM) principles and tools.
  6. Exceptional oral and written communication for engaging with technical teams, business stakeholders, and vendors; strong organizational skills for system configuration, documentation, and compliance.
