Dr. Lamberte is an Associate Professor at the School of Economics in DLSU-Manila. Prior to joining SOE, he practiced as a Civil Engineer at the DCCD Engineering Corp. and Manila Water Company, Inc. He is a Licensed Civil Engineer since 2011.
Dr. Lamberte handles basic and intermediate Microeconomics for undergraduate, Microeconomics courses for graduate, Environmental and Resource Economics for both undergraduate and graduate, and Economic Development. He is mentoring thesis mentees from both the undergraduate and graduate. He is currently the coordinator for the Minor in Economics studies.
Aside from the academe, he is also part of their church’s choir as a flutist. He is a 4th degree member of the Knights of Columbus, and an advocate of gender equality and rights of the LGBTQIA+ community.
Research Interests
Dr. Albert E. Lamberte is a licensed Civil Engineer and an Environmental Economist. He has an undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering with specialization in Hydraulics and Water Resources from the De La Salle University-Manila. He then took his Master of Arts in Economics from the University of the Philippines-Diliman. He earned his Ph.D. at the Crawford School of Public Policy at the Australian National University, under the Australian Awards Scholarship and was one of the recipients of the award for graduating with Distinction. He is a classically trained flutist and an advocate of gender equality and rights of the LGBTQIA+ community.
