I. What is project BITUIN?
What does ERP mean and what will it do for DLSU?
Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) is a system which shall connect and integrate business functions through unified information architecture. Such system aims to improve information access and services to targeted stakeholders, in the areas of Financial Management, Student Life Cycle and Human Resources.The benefits of carrying out ERP include improved collaboration and workflows, improved efficiency and customer service, better data security and quality and standardisation of processes.

What is the goal of Project BITUIN?
DLSU’s ERP project, which will be referred to as BITUIN, aims to improve information access, streamline processes, and enhance services involving our main stakeholders, namely students, faculty, staff, parents, and the administration.

How can I contribute to the success of Project BITUIN?
BITUIN is a PARTNERSHIP between employees and vendor partners to provide best options for the university. Employees will be selected to actively participate in technical
work groups, sharing of relevant information, and invited process review discussions and co-create solutions

What are the communication channels that I will be able to access to know the status of Project BITUIN?
Project BITUIN updates will be posted on regularly on the project’s website. A PDF version of the BITUIN newsletter will be uploaded on the BITUIN web page monthly.
The institutional newsletter, 2401, will allocate space once a month for news and updates that have an impact to the academic community.

What impact will ERP have on employee jobs?
ERP will result in redesigning processes and it may lead to a change in your role and responsibilities. There will be an alignment in the organisation of your work teams. Our
goal is to ensure we match all employees with the best structure to support the new processes.

What support will be provided for any changes in employee job function?
After a thorough review of enhancements in process, we will support the integration of new roles with learning & development programs to support knowledge and skills training requirements.

What impact will ERP have on my opportunities for career advancement in the University?
The review of processes may result in a redefinition of your role and possibly create new opportunities for you to move into enhanced or even new roles within your current work teams or in other areas of the university.

What impact will ERP have on my performance review?
Employee work performance will be evaluated based on current and enhanced roles and responsibilities.

What will be expected of me as an employee during ERP implementation?
The success of ERP will largely depend on the cooperation of all employees working with implementation partners to identify the best processes to adapt in the university

What impact will ERP implementation have on Employee Pay and Benefits?
There will be no negative impact on your pay and benefits as a result of ERP implementation. Any changes in this area will be reviewed based on any reorganisation.

What will happen if an employee is unable to meet competencies requried for the new roles or processes?
The university will all exhaust available options to help employees adjust and adapt to changes brought about by ERP.
