Job Descriptions/Summary

The BrAMS Facilities Manager oversees, organizes, coordinates, and supervises the physical resources, services, facilities and day-to-day operations of the Br. Alfred Shields FSC Marine Station of the University. This position is strictly administrative and operational in nature. It does not involve any participation, responsibility, or oversight of research activities, academic programs, or scientific projects conducted at the station

Qualifications
  1. Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Environmental Science, Business Administration, or related field.
  2. Certification as Pollution Control Officer (PCO) or willingness to undergo DENR-accredited training is an advantage
  3. Certification as a Safety Officer is an advantage
  4. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in facilities management, operations, or related field.
  5. Strong knowledge of safety standards, environmental regulations, and compliance requirements.
  6. Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
  7. Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond effectively to emergencies.
  8. Willing to be assigned in Lian, Batangas, with occasional reporting at the Laguna Campus (Biñan, Laguna).
