De La Salle University is ranked among the world’s top universities in seven subjects according to the 2026 QS World University Rankings by Subject.
DLSU is the lone Philippine university that is ranked in Philosophy (151-200).
The University is the country’s top HEI in Business & Management Studies (401-450) and Education and Training (351-400).
Moreover, it is the leading private university in the Philippines in the areas of Computer Science & Information Systems (551-600), Economics & Econometrics (451-500), English Language & Literature (201-250), and Politics (301-400).
DLSU also improved its rankings in the broad subject areas of Arts & Humanities (=365) and Social Sciences and Management (=382).
QS employs the following metrics to evaluate the subject rankings: Reputation indicators which are based on the responses of more than 200,000 employers and academics to QS surveys; Citations per Paper and H-Index which measure research impact and productivity; and International Research Network which assesses cross-border research collaboration.
