PAASCU reaccredits DLSU undergrad programs, valid until 2031

De La Salle University has secured a five-year re-accreditation for its undergraduate programs from the Philippine Accrediting Association of Schools, Colleges and Universities (PAASCU), valid until February 2031.

DLSU President Br. Bernard Oca FSC made the announcement via Help Desk last March 9, saying, “This accomplishment highlights our University’s unwavering commitment to academic excellence, quality assurance, and the holistic development of our students. The collective efforts of our academic community in upholding rigorous standards in instruction, research, and service have been acknowledged through this significant milestone.”

The reaccredited undergraduate programs are from the Br. Andrew Gonzalez FSC College of Education (Elementary and Secondary Education), Carlos L. Tiu School of Economics, College of Computer Studies (Computer Science programs), College of Liberal Arts, College of Science, and Ramon V. del Rosario College of Business.

Br. Bernie also commended the Information Technology and Information Systems programs for being granted an initial three-year accreditation until February 2029.

He cited the Quality Assurance Office as well as the administrators, faculty, personnel, and students who helped in the University’s ongoing pursuit of academic quality and continuous improvement in these programs.
