Laboratory Technician

The general function of Laboratory Technician is to safe-keep,organize and account laboratory equipment and apparatuses as well as assist students in operating laboratory equipment and apparatuses.

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer, Mechanical, Industrial, or Civil Engineering
2. At least ten (10) years of relevant experience as a laboratory technician with competencies in manual machining, CNC programming, laser cutting operations, MIG welding, plasma cutting, electro copper plating, 3D printing, and laser etching and engraving.
3. Knowledgeable in various laboratory setups, equipment, and apparatus within the assigned laboratory area.
4. Familiarity with standard protocols and procedures for laboratory experiments.
5. Proficient in computer applications, particularly MS Office.
6. Demonstrates reliability, accountability, and integrity in performing assigned tasks.
7. Exhibits strong attention to detail and accuracy in work.
