The DLSU-SoLL cordially invites you to the Accounting for Non-Accountants

The DLSU-School of Lifelong Learning (DLSU-SoLL) in partnership with DLSU Villa-Abrille Center for Professional Development, cordially invites you to the Accounting for Non-Accountants. This four-day Accounting for Non-Accountants program, offered by the De La Salle University–School of Lifelong Learning (DLSU–SOLL), in partnership with DLSU Villa-Abrille Center for Professional Development, is designed to equip professionals with a complete, practice-oriented grounding in accounting principles, financial reporting, and financial statement analysis—even without a prior accounting background. The first two days provide a step-by-step understanding of the accounting cycle, from the origins of accounting to the preparation of journal entries, ledgers, trial balances, adjustments, and full financial statements. The next two days focus on building analytical skills by introducing earning power, comparative and trend analysis, vertical and horizontal analysis, ratio interpretation, and real-company evaluation using tools such as the Altman Z-Score. Across the four days, participants learn through guided discussions, problem-solving exercises, group cases, and hands-on preparation of financial statements, ensuring they gain both conceptual clarity and practical competence needed to understand and evaluate financial information in their own work environment. This program runs from April 21 – 24, 2026.

These programs are open to the general public.
