In 2022, De La Salle University celebrated the fruition of another vision of the De La Salle Brothers–the Santuario de La Salle. Conceptualized in 2011, constructed during the tercentenary celebration of the death of St. John Baptist de La Salle in 2019, and consecrated in 2022, the sanctuary serves as a repository of the Founder’s relic and opens its doors as a pilgrimage site for educators.
The family of Ramon “Chito” Villavicencio donated for the main sections of the Santuario, in their shared mission to support the holistic development of students and the spiritual nourishment of the community we serve.
In our collective effort to further support our vision, we would like to give our community a chance to participate in this noble project.
St. La Salle Carillon Bells
The Santuario de La Salle will have a carillon tower made of 48 bronze carillon bells and one large bell at the bell tower. The bells are made in Belgium and has a hearing range of up to one kilometer.
Gift for the carillon bells ranges from Php 500,000 to Php 3,000,000.
St. La Salle Pillars
The pillars of the Santuario de La Salle serve as the exterior support of its foundation and forms the shape of a star. A total of 194 pillars surround the ambulatory space of the Santuario.
For Php 150,000, you can already make a gift to the Shrine by supporting one of the pillars.
St. La Salle Pews
The pews that will be placed at the Santuario de La Salle are made of kiln dried solid Mahogany wood and Tanguile wood with padded kneelers. A total of 106 pews of different sizes will be used.
Gift for the pews ranges from Php 50,000 to Php 100,000.
Santuario de La Salle General Fund
You can still support the Santuario de La Salle by donating any amount to the General Fund. The fund will be dedicated solely for the maintenance and operational costs of the Santuario.
