Hon. Alain Pascua

Hon. Alain Del Bustamante Pascua is the Undersecretary of the Department of Education. He completed Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the Adamson University and took up graduate studies in public administration at the National College of Public Administration and Governance (NCPAG) at the University of the Philippines.  As the Undersecretary of the Department of Education, he supervises 3 major services and 4 major divisions – the Administrative Service, the Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Service, the Information and Communications Technology Service, the Education Facilities Division, the Schools Health Division, the Youth Formation Division, and the Baguio Teachers Camp. It is under his leadership that the DepEd Administration Strand formulated the comprehensive Public Schools of the Future Framework with major programs such as the Digital Rise, the Public Education Network, DepEd Enterprise Resource Planning System, the Last Mile Schools, DepEd Core Values, Sports Manuals, and the Oplan Kalusugansa DepEd.
