Engr. Melvin Acosta

Engr. Melvin Acosta is one of the technical consultants of the DICT-Office of the Undersecretary for Government Digital Broadcast Television, The Digitization of the Entertainment Industry Sector, and Emerging Technologies, specializing in the formulation of the policies for the Digital Terrestrial Television Broadcasting and its relevant research and development. An Electronics Engineering graduate from Mapua, he also took up Management Development Program at the Asian Institute of Management and several broadcasting and digital television training abroad to polish his craft. He is currently the Chairman of the Technical Module of the National Telecommunications Commission Technical Working Group 1 for Digital Terrestrial Television Migration and the Chairman of the Mapua Institute of Technology Program Academic Advisory Panel (PAAP) for Electronics Engineering.
