Aristotle T. Ubando Ph.D.
He is an Associate Professor and Research Fellow C of the Mechanical Engineering Department. He is a recipient of the Fulbright Doctoral Research Program at the University of Arizona on microalgae growth and processing, and at the Texas A&M University on optimal design of microalgae biorefineries in academic year 2013-2014. Dr. Ubando received his Ph.D. in mechanical engineering from De La Salle University in 2014. In 2015, He leads an USIAD STRIDE project grant on microalgae assessment. He has a number of works published in Clean Technologies for Environmental Policy, American Society of Mechanical Engineers, and the Philippine Science Letters Journal.
