GUIDELINES TO AUTHORS

The Manila Journal of Science publishes peer-reviewed Full Papers and Short Communications.

Full Paper is a full-length research article that describes the results of an original comprehensive investigation. Short Communication is a preliminary account of a study deemed significant that merits immediate publication. All submitted papers are initially reviewed for their appropriateness with respect to the scope of the journal. Prior to sending the papers for review to at least two reviewers, the manuscript is checked for duplicity using the software Turnitin. The review process follows a double-blind peer-review system. It is understood that all papers submitted to MJS are not simultaneously being reviewed in other journals. It is also understood that any part of the paper has not been published. Once the submitted paper is accepted, the corresponding author should fill up the copyright transfer form and send it to the Managing Editor.

The Manila Journal of Science supports and adheres to the COPE Code of Conducts and Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors
