Editorial Policies

Review Process

Editors evaluate the submitted article’s originality and quality before it undergoes the reviewer selection process. Articles are then assessed by two referees who are known experts in the field, who would decide the article’s suitability for publication in Akda. After a period of few weeks to a few months, the author/s will receive the reviewer reports. Rejected articles will not be considered for publication while accepted articles would be queued for publication. For articles with a revise and resubmit decision, authors will revise the article and respond to the comments of the reviewers until the article is deemed fit for publication by reviewers and editors. Accepted articles will proceed to copyediting and proofreading in the production stage.
