ABOUT THE SHRINE

As we pursue our mission to be a leading learner-centered and research institution, DLSU creates spaces for the holistic development of students and the spiritual nourishment of the community we serve.

The Shrine of St. John Baptist de La Salle is under construction at the DLSU Laguna Campus. As the first sanctuary in the world dedicated in honor of the Patron Saint of Teachers, it is envisioned to be a pilgrimage site for educators.

The Shrine will be a repository of the relic of the Founder. Designed by Filipino-Colombian architect Carlos Arnaiz, the dedication of the Shrine of St. John Baptist de La Salle is scheduled in May 2020.
