Data Privacy Specialist

The Data Privacy Specialist will primarily assist the DPO in ensuring and monitoring the compliance of the University to the Philippines’ data privacy laws and regulations and overseeing that DLSU has an effective Privacy Management Program in place.

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Law, Legal Management, Commerce, Industrial Engineering, Accounting, or a related field.
2. At least two (2) years of work experience in privacy, compliance, governance, legal, risk management, or a related field.
3. Knowledge of Data Privacy Laws and regulations.
4. Knowledge of Privacy Impact Assessments, Risk Management, and Program Management.
5. Professional certifications related to privacy, risk management, information security, or cybersecurity are an advantage (e.g., CIPM, CIPE, CRA, CISSR, CISM).
6. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing tasks.
