The DLSU FABLAB offers the following comprehensive services:
STEP 1. Fill out our FABLAB Service Request Form.
STEP 2. To serve you better, we request a consultation/discussion with you to help determine the appropriate fabrication methods or testing standards to achieve your objectives. Wait for our e-mail to confirm the discussion schedule.
STEP 3. Wait for our email for further clarifications. Otherwise, we will be sending the billing form and quotation.
STEP 4. Pay for the fees (either in-person or online). For in-person payment, please inform us 3 to 5 days prior to your visit.
STEP 5. Submit the actual materials (if supplying your own) and your CAD models/engineering drawings. For in-person submission, please coordinate with us prior to your visit so we can have your gate pass processed.
Fabrication and testing services are charged based on complexity, machine usage hours, and material consumption. Users may provide their own raw materials. A separate rate will be charged for the use of materials, filaments, or stock metals directly from our inventory.
Fabrication & Consultation Services
Rates for design, material preparation, welding, machining, and thesis fabrication consultations are available upon quotation. Please submit your project details, CAD models, or engineering drawings to receive a formal estimate based on the scope and complexity of your requirements. Standard discount tiers (Industry, Government, Academe, DLSP, DLSU) will be applied to the quoted labor rates.
