Doing Business in Free Trade and Industry: Market Approach
Overview
The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) and the De La Salle University (DLSU) has entered into a partnership in conducting an information session for the academic sector on the Free Trade Areas or FTA that the Philippines entered into and are already in force, in aid of increasing nationwide awareness on the benefits of these FTAs to the businesses.
The event “Doing Business in Free Trade Areas: Market Approach”, will be held on November 25, 2011 at the Maria Teresa Yuchengco Auditorium of the De La Salle University, Taft Avenue, Manila.
The program gives emphasis on student involvement beyond the classroom and presents new perspectives in the business world which moulds the students to be at the forefront of nation building and development. It will tap students to take action to create a better future not only for them but also for the benefit of the country, by learning how to utilize the free trade market to generate more jobs, increase economic development, and even apply innovative ideas and practices.
The event is intended for graduating students from various schools nationwide taking up export management, international business and other related courses such as customs administration, economics, among others, where the subject is relevant. Participation to this seminar is sponsored by the DTI, which includes food, registration, and seminar materials.
