Abstract:
-This paper describes an implementation of a boat-type drone that is powered wirelessly through radio waves. The microchip used in converting radio waves into DC power was the Powercast P2110 chip. It harnesses radio waves within the 902-928 MHz frequency range, with a center frequency of 915 MHz. Transmission was performed using the Hewlett Packard 8648C signal generator and a signal jammer, either of which were connected to the RF Linx LTX-915 amplifier for variable transmit power from 0.5 to 10 Watts.
