Randel V. Laureta, Jose Perfecto D. Rubio, advised by Engr. Roberto T. Caguingin
Abstract:
-Advancement in software technology has enabled the group to include interactive content, which can enhance the learning process. All lectures were developed using Macromedia Flash MX 2004 and they are presented in both the spoken and visual media. An ample amount of simulations, animations, still graphics, sample problems, exercises and video materials were incorporated. The Computer Aided Instruction (CAI) for Transmission of Signals is programmed using Hypertext Preprocessor (PHP) script, which can run inside the Internet Information Services (IIS) and Apache Web Server, and the database is structured using MySQL. The system is installable and operable in Microsoft Windows 2000/XP Web Server and Linux Web Server. It can also run on a single MS (Microsoft) Windows-based machine as Standalone mode or can be viewed on-line through an Internet connection.
