Abstract:
-The Automated Microcontroller Based Data Acquisition and Control System (AMBDACS) for fresh water farms is a system that automatically monitors and acquire the three important water parameters namely: the Dissolved Oxygen level, Potential Hydrogen, and Temperature level. Here, the user has the ability to set the optimal levels or desired readings he needs for each parameter, thus if these levels have been exceeded, the system could set an alarm, turn on the aerator, or do nothing depending on the users preference. The system that was developed is for stand alone mode eliminating the constant manual monitoring done in the fresh water fish farms. A memory circuit is incorporated within the AMBDACS module for storing the previous readings of the system, these readings could be checked by the user. Everything is optimized for a user-friendly environment.
