Abstract:
-This paper pertains to a system that superimposes digital information into audio signals. The system calculates the minimummasking threshold using MPEG’s audio psychoacoustic model. This minimum masking threshold is used to attenuate the digital text burst, which is modulated by using frequency shift keying (FSK). The attenuated FSK signal containing the information is superimposed with the audio signal. The paper also presents a decoding system for extracting the digital information that is superimposed in the audio signal.
