Ideya is published twice a year, in March and September, by the College of Liberal Arts, De La Salle University, 2401 Taft Avenue, Manila 1004, Philippines.

Subscription rates: Foreign libraries and institutions US$40 (surface mail), US$50 (airmail). Individuals US$25 (surface mail), US$40 (airmail). Domestic subscription rates are P1100 for libraries and institutions and P800 for individuals.

Call for Papers

Vol. 10 No. 1 September 2008

Deadline: 31 January 2008

General issue. Articles on history, criticism, and theory related to any field of the Humanities will be considered. Literary works are also accepted: fiction, nonfiction, poetry, and short plays.

Articles may be written in Filipino and English and must include abstracts. Literary works may be written in Filipino and English. Literary works in other Philippine languages should be accompanied by translations in English or Filipino.

Notes to contributors:

  • Use the Modern Language Association (MLA) format.
  • Manuscripts should not be more than thirty (30) pages, double-spaced on letter-size
    (8.5" x 11") bond paper. Acceptable font faces are Times New Roman and Arial only, with a font size of 12.
  • The author's name and complete contact information should be on a sheet separate from the manuscript.
  • Submit three (3) hard copies with an electronic copy in Rich Text Format (*.rtf).
  • Enclose a stamped, self-addressed envelope if you wish for your manuscript to be returned.
