Call for Papers

The AJChE publishes articles on Chemical Engineering, specifically thermodynamics, reaction kinetics, transport phenomena, process control, environment, energy, biotechnology, corrosion, recyling, separation science, powder technology, materials science, education and other relevant subjects. Topics may range from fundamentals to applications. The latter may deal with a variety of subjects, such as case studies in design and operational data of industrial processes, performances of commercial products and others. As a general rule, articles should be based on original results and should not have been published elsewhere (except by author's own patent disclosures). The standard language used is English.

 

Acceptance of an article for publication will be decided by the Editorial Committee of AJChE Journal (hereinafter referred to as "the Committee").

 

The types of articles that are invited:

 

  • Original Research Paper - Research papers on results of significant and completed studies and researches, and on technical achievements in specific areas in Chemical Engineering. Original research papers will be refereed.
  • Chemical Engineering Education Papers - Reports of different profiles of Chemical Engineering Education in ASEAN universities. This paper will be refereed.
  • Short Communications - Brief articles in which the contents are not as extensive as those of Original Research Papers. This short communications will be edited only.
  • Informative Articles - Brief articles on news activities of chemical engineering departments and professional societies for quick dissemination. This article will be edited only.
  • Consultancy Papers - Articles reporting results of studies conducted by a Chemical Engineer related to his/her consultancy works.
  • Reader's Column/Letters to the Editor - Thoughts on articles published in the Journal or comments on problems in related fields.

 

Qualification of the Author

 

The author shall be a Chemical Engineer or a graduate of B. S. Chemical Engineering. For a non-Chemical Engineer, at least one shall be a Chemical Engineer for co-authorship.
