Yuchengco Center

As a research institution, the Yuchengco Center was given an award by the Japanese Government for its contribution in the promotion of mutual understanding and friendship between the Philippines and Japan through its research, conferences and publications.

The Center, since its establishment in 1994, has conducted innovative studies and has produced excellent research outputs highlighting the friendly bilateral relations between the two countries and other groups in the neighboring countries.

The Center's structure is geared toward multidisciplinary research and education activities by virtue of the variability of expertise of its fellows (economics, political science, health, demography). The core research staff at Yuchengco Center comprises the Research Fellows and Research Assistants.
