In addition, the Center hosted over 20 visiting scholars under its Visiting Scholars Program (VSP). The VSP enables academics to pursue research on a pertinent policy area. Researchers who are on sabbatical or study leave from their home institutions can use the Yuchengco Center as an institutional base as they conduct research, write reports or collaborate with De La Salle University-Manila faculty/staff on research or publication.

Scholars working on Asian development studies, economics, environment, gender, health, international relations, politics, and social sciences are encouraged to apply. Those with interdisciplinary interests are also enjoined to participate in the Program. The period of stay in the Center ranges from three months to a maximum of one year. Stipends are currently not available. Thus, it is highly recommended that candidates seek outside funding from agencies or institutions in or outside their countries of origin.
